Our two family run houses combine the ancient Black Forest hospitality tradition with modern comfort. Our Hotel Inn “Straub” and our Chalet “SCHWARZWALDFERIENHAUS ANITA” are marvellously situated at a calm place on a south-exposed slope, surrounded by meadows, in the area “Titisee-Schluchsee-Feldberg”. Our guests enjoy a fascinating view over the peaceful woods and the mountain massif of the “Feldberg”.

Useful information

Our Black Forest inn has two houses, the main house with mainly hotel rooms and a few spacious hotel apartments and the Anita house behind it with holiday apartments or hotel apartments, a lounge with tiled stove, sauna, laundry room with washing machine, table tennis and ski room, bicycle cellar and a children's playroom. Our houses are located in the center of Kappel, set back from the street and surrounded by meadows, a small children's playground and garden areas. The cozy dining rooms are located in the main building. Here we serve you the breakfast buffet from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m., a small snack menu from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., dinner from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Closing days: Tuesday all day and Wednesday. All day on Wednesdays in the low season. Please always reserve your table in advance. You are welcome to book half board for stays of 3 days or more, you can choose from our extensive à la carte menu at any time. We offer free W - Lan in the public rooms of the main building and in the lounge in the Anita. The current tourist tax is added to the overnight prices. Dogs are accepted by prior arrangement. You can arrive from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Please arrange your arrival on the rest days with us. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the room by 10 a.m. All of our hotel rooms and apartments or holiday homes are non-smoking areas. You are welcome to smoke on the balconies. Please note: After the room reservation and confirmation, we will have the desired room ready for you. Reservation changes or cancellations result in losses that we cannot bear alone. We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance. Canceled hotel rooms will be charged at 80% of the room price, a deduction of 20% for the costs saved will be taken into account. If half-board is booked, 30% of the total price will be deducted. Holiday apartments are charged at 90% of the respective price. All prices are inclusive of VAT. We accept cash or EC and Maestro cards for payment. We would like to assure you that we will do our utmost to make your vacation relaxing and pleasant. Please contact us for special requests.
